'Hellboy' Makeup Only Took Two Hours to Do

One would expect that the makeup required to transform Stranger Things star David Harbour into Hellboy would take a substantial amount of time. TCA 2019: NOS4A2 IS A CAUTIONARY TALE ABOUT 'CHRISTMAS EVERY DAY

If you're a fan of The Fairly OddParents, you know that having Christmas every day just doesn't work. If you've read Joe Hill's horror novel NOS4A2, then you know it really, really doesn't work.

The 2013 publication by Hill (aka the son of Stephen King) is getting its own television series on AMC this summer and will drive home the point that waiting around for Santa all the time is a very bad idea. Writer/producer Jami O'Brien explained why at the show's panel during the TCA 2019 winter tour.

First Hellboy trailer showcases apocalyptic monster battles

Apocalypse is on the horizon, which means it’s time to choose sides. Unfortunately, that’s a particularly difficult task for Hellboy (David Harbour) in the upcoming movie that shares his name. On the one hand, he’s an experienced monster hunter who has spent years battling to keep the human world safe from supernatural threats. On the other hand, he himself is a big red demon who is destined to bring about the end of the world. It’s a tricky balance that’s hard for anyone to figure out — particularly the trigger-happy human soldier who fires a shot at Hellboy at the beginning of the film’s first trailer.
