There is a third poster which features other monsters from the movie, proving just how out there Marshall and crew went to make things closer to Mike Mignola's source material. After years of anticipation, the movie finally hits theaters this week and excitement is high, especially after the NSFW trailer was released late last week, giving us our best look at the movie yet and providing our first look at Thomas Haden Church's Lobster Johnson. As Meagan pointed out in her review for us, one of the best aspects of Neil Marshall’s monster-loaded, blood-soaked Hellboy is the Baba Yaga, a Mike Mignola character who comes to the big screen for the first time in Marshall’s rated “R” reboot. Meagan writes:

“Any scene that features the seriously creepy Baba Yaga is an amazing highlight that I can’t stress enough, particularly one that sees Hellboy inside her home. This character is so fantastically designed and performed, her home so unnerving, that she deserves an entire movie of her own. David Harbour explains how he prepared to star in the Hellboy movie reboot in our exclusive behind the scenes clip. A seasoned character actor with roles in several films (like Revolutionary Road) and TV shows (like The Newsroom) under his belt, Harbour got his big break a few years back when he signed on to play the (now, fan-favorite) Chief Jim Hopper on Netflix's hit 1980s-set sci-fi horror series, Stranger Things. For his next trick, Harbour is stepping into the role of Hellboy - a comic book character who was previously brought to life on the big screen by Ron Perlman in a pair of Guillermo del Toro-directed movies.

After years of waiting, this dark comic franchise is reborn The premiere of the new film Hellboy took place on Tuesday at the Lincoln Center AMC. This dark and horror filled franchise finally makes its return and fans are excited. Lionsgate has unveiled the final trailer for “Hellboy,” Neil Marshall’s reboot of the comic-book series first brought to the silver screen by Guillermo del Toro. In this day, a lot of things are done digitally instead of practically despite the fact that fans tend to prefer the practical.
